Mekrivo Rechargeable Magnetic Work Light

When I first bought this light, I wasn't really sure about the quality. I love working on my cars and trucks and myself so having a good light is important. After reading reviews, I went for it. Glad I did. This thing has been used several times already; I just received it today. The magnets are good and strong as well as the lighting. I just bought another one. This one will make a great addition to my prepper collection. lol. Don't be fooled by the other lights, they may look the same, they aren't!

I needed something to see inside my truck at night when my tonneau cover was on. This light exceeded my expectations! It has 3 brightness levels + a strobe feature. I took a picture of each brightness. If you want to sample the strobe effect, just blink a bunch.

Great light. Good battery life. So far, has survived a couple of trips to the floor from three feet.

Handy little light that I have stuck to the steel overhead shelf in the cargo compartment of my SUV. The battery lasts forever, I haven't ever needed to recharge it. Only down-side is the ugly green color. I disassembled it and painted it flat black.

This is so bright it's amazing. The magnets are so strong! This is so versatile and incredibly useful. I got it for our studio and home to just have a good bright light that's very mobile. I was not prepared for how this thing lights up the night. The pics are in the back yard of our home in the country in pitch black night. The battery has lasted days into weeks of me playing with it very frequently and it's held up to me dropping it twice with no sign of any issues. This thing is worth every penny. Like seriously that's so much light.

This light is bright. I use it when I’m delivering. My trailer is not equipped with lights. This is better.

So good. This is becoming one of my favorite go-to work lights for various scenarios. The magnets are really strong and would obviously be perfect for under-the-hood work. But when one side of my fence fell during a storm, the great adjustability allowed me to snap it onto a fence post and aim it exactly where I needed light to fix it. The battery lasts longer than my stamina for any job. I've used it around an hour for each task, maybe 4 or 5 so far, and haven’t charged it yet since it still shows 3 bars on the indicator. It’s bright green, so you shouldn’t lose it. It can stand on its own; can be hung vertically or horizontally, and has more than enough positive stops for radial aiming. It’s a great work light, and it gets incredibly bright - what more can you ask for?

Feels like its built on the lighter end of things, the magnets are ok, and overall lighting is good but seems to have a softer light bud good coverage

Manufacturer packaging is good - sturdy box and the usual layer of padding around the light itself. Also includes an instruction manual and 3.5’ (44”) long USB-A to USB-C charging cable. It does include a USB-A and USB-C port, but the USB-C is only for charging the light. I was unable to use the light as a power bank to charge my phone using a USB-C cable, but I was able to charge my phone and several other devices using the included A to C cable with no issues. Not a big deal, but something to be aware of. Dimensions listed in the description are accurate. I did a quickie measurement with a tape measure and it came in at 17” x 3” x 2” compared to the listed 17.32” x 3.35” x 1.97”. It weighs in at 1 lb, 4.8 oz. All 3 lighting modes worked as expected, with images showing high and low mode. No picture of the red strobe, but it worked fine. The instructions say to charge for 3.5 hours before use, but it showed up with 3 out of 4 bars on the charge indicator and I was able to fully test it without charging. This light uses a single row of LEDs and light output was adequate for the number of individual LEDs that are used. The magnetic ends include a fold out hook on each end with the hooks and the magnetic ends rotating independently which will allow you to use it in a lot of different configurations. My truck has an aluminum body so I had to test the magnets on my steel bumper instead of under the hood, but the magnets were pretty strong so there shouldn’t be any issues if you have a steel hood. I was able to hang it under the hood with the hooks without any issues. Final conclusion is that this is a fantastic little light that you can grab if you don’t want to spend the money on a full width light that clamps around the hood itself, or if you need something to throw under your seat in your car to have for emergencies or whatever.

This is an all around gem of a light to have around the house, shop, or even stored in your vehicle. Two magnets on each end stick to just about any thing and hold tight. The light itself between the magnets can twist, so you can turn the light to where you need it. If there isn't any metallic objects for this to stick to, there are two hidden adjustable hooks to hang this light from as well. The light has two brightness levels when clicking the power button. Has a USB charging port in the back AND the light can also be used as a battery bank for your phone if its getting low on battery. Pretty amazing little work light with multiple functions. Over all, I'm super impressed with it and I would highly recommend this light. Considering what you get at this price point, I would consider this a really good value!

Outstanding work lights, I've had a number of them for years. Just purchased these to replace a couple that weren't charging well. But that was after using them for years. Very adaptable to any position. No more need to have someone hold a light. Or use a pen light with your teeth, very hard on the Dental work.

This light is awesome. It is super bright. We have used it on dark nights at camp walking to the bathroom. It has been used in the rain while we pulled and changed our well pump. Has strong magnetic ability. I would purchase this item again. We have only charged it one time since purchase and used quite a bit. It does not seem flimsy. Very durable and worth the money.

This is a super bright area light! The light on this runs the length of the bar so it lights up a large area, which is great when working in the garage, shed or basement tool room. The light truly does last the 3 hours on its brightest setting. The low setting is even bright enough for most uses. The magnets are super strong, allowing it to be placed under the hood or anywhere there is a metal/iron surface to stick it to. The body is plastic, so in roughly handled conditions it may not be as durable as metal, but if cared for this should last for many years. The light itself is fairly lightweight so it will be easy to take anywhere and use it anywhere. For emergencies this would be great to have in the car, such as for changing a tire or checking under the hood. This is pretty much the brightest area light I have so for the price it is a very good value.

Love these! I use them everywhere. Currently one is in my tack locker, and the other is used to provide extra light in my horse’s stall. Very nice and bright, and can be used in so many configurations. It has also come in handy during power outages, provides plenty of light when needed. Long lasting. Easy to charge with a USB-C cable.

Really bright and magnetic is strong

The light is the bomb! The magnets are strong. The light is strong. I work on high voltage battery systems so I need ample light in order to perform my work safely. (Or I die) I can't have a light that falls due to lack of a strong magnetic attraction. It's all plastic and no metal except for the magnets. The battery life is fantastic. I've charged this battery once since I've owned it and I've used it for about 4-5 hours on medium light. It's a winner in my book. The only thing I would have done differently, is put the SOS option on a different button. You'll try to turn it off and thr last function is the SOS so it starts flashing in your face. Whatever.... Just buy it.

Was iffy about this light due to the price, but had a project on my truck and needed some good lighting. I charged it prior to use as the direction said and this light ran steady in the high setting for over 5 hours and never flickered. I will say it’s smaller than I thought it was going to be but for the price and how bright it is, it doesn’t need to be any bigger. I bought 3 more for my buddies who are also mechanics because they are that great. Highly recommend getting one if you’re a DIY guy.

Bought this for my husband but now I want one. This light is VERY bright even in the lowest setting. We have a HUGE living room and for the heck of it last night when it was dark we turned it on and it lit up the WHOLE ROOM on the lowest setting. Told my husband that this would be nice to have in the vehicle in case ever broke down but afraid it would blind in coming cars lol What did he do? He has it in his vehicle for one of those just in case moments and NIW I want one for my vehicle. It’s not real big but not real small either. I love it not only has the magnets which by the way are VERY strong but it also has little hanger hooks. I love that it’s rechargeable and it came fully charged. I got the pretty like green one but next one I’m getting is the yellow one. But yes this is a MUST HAVE even for us ladies!

Finally, no more extension cords. Extremely bright and easy to position.

My coworker bought this exact light rebranded off the tool truck for over 130 bucks. Its very bright, the battery lasts hours, the magnets on the bottoms are really strong. The hooks give it great versatility. Sooo happy with this purchase.
